The Art of Basketball is a collection of original artworks under license from the NBA. The collection currently features unique canvases, such as the official NBA Backboard and the 2011 NBA All Star Game basketball court (the floor). Public Works Department taps a select group of leading graffiti and street artists to re-imagine the most iconic symbols of the game. The Show took place on Dec 7th, 2012 during Art Basel weekend and had a great turn out. The Big three of the Miami Heat were in attendance to show there support and give back to the community.
